Our reason for being:
As part of the larger Catholic community, St. Joseph's is a parish actively involved in nurturing and passing on the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Roman Catholic Faith, and its traditions and values to present and future generations. By reaching out to include everyone in its community of faith, St. Joseph's advocates social justice and dignity for all people and serves as a living example of the teachings of Christ.
Our Mission:
- To engage to the fullest extent the leadership, gifts, and diversity of us all, to embark on a journey of faith, guided by the Holy Spirit, leading us into the 21st century. This is a lifetime journey that begins with Baptism and extends through adult life and must be accessible to everyone. All are invited to take this journey of Catholic Faith Formation which is truly a way of life.
- While on our spiritual journey, we hold that our belief in Jesus' life and teachings and the Eucharist suggests a call to:
- Be of service to others; provide support and comfort; stand and act for what we believe; value family and life, and provide a safe haven for sharing our Faith and access to God's peace.
