Deacon John will be preaching at the weekend Masses on March 6th & 7th, to help us prepare for this wonderful spiritual opportunity. The Retreat itself will be held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, March 8, 9 & 10, at the 9:00am Mass and at 7:30pm, all in the church. Our Retreat Topics will be:
Monday: Experiencing the Presence of God
Tuesday: Reconciliation: God’s Mercy
Wednesday: Resurrection: New Life
I recommend all of us attending this Retreat together, so if there are other activities that can be re-scheduled, please do so. Lent is only six weeks a year: the spiritual benefits of allowing God’s mercy and love to touch us are essential for our growth as people of faith.
