St. Joseph Parish Outreach
Helping the Homeless
During the winter months, we see an increase in the number of homeless clients who are truly hungry. We help by listening, making referrals to appropriate agencies, providing them with Thrift Shop vouchers for clothing, deli vouchers, etc.
We also provide small "emergency kits" with ready-to-eat foods that don't need to be heated or refrigerated. Our supply is getting low.
Please help us by donating any of the following items:
small water bottles
small cans (pop top) or packets of tuna
snack size pudding or fruit cups
canned soda or juice
liquid instant breakfast
small bags of chips, pretzels, trail mix, cookies
granola or cereal bars
cheese & cracker packages
We also could use toiletry items such as:
toothbrushes and toothpaste
soap & cleansing wipes
Items can be brought to either the Outreach office (located directly behind the Church) or the Parish Office. Please check for hours of operation.
Thank you for helping support our local homeless community.
Your generosity is truly appreciated!
