The Francis Ferguson Memorial Scholarship is offered to students from St. Joseph's Parish who are entering Catholic High School. Applications are available each spring. The $500 award is sponsored by the Ferguson family and is coordinated by our own Saint Joseph the Carpenter Council of the Knights of Columbus. This year's winner is Kevin Shepherd, who is attending Kellenburg High School. He wrote the winning essay on the topic "What Attending Catholic High School Means to Me". Kevin was presented with the award Sunday, October 10th with his Family at the 9:00 Mass. Grand Knight Eric Hansen and members of the Knights of Columbus along with Mrs. Ferguson were present with Rev. Msgr. Richard M. Figliozzi, Pastor.
