PLANNING A LOVED ONE'S FUNERAL AT ST. JOSEPH PARISH
May the Peace of the Risen Christ be with you.
The death of a loved one is always a difficult time for family and friends. As a loving and welcoming community, we at St. Joseph offer our condolences at this time of sorrow and grief.
We invite and encourage your participation in the funeral liturgy. After your funeral director requests the funeral, a companion, from the Ministry of Consolation, will contact you to arrange to meet with you, either at your home or at the Parish Center, prior to the day of the funeral.
The companion will explain the meaning and elements of the funeral rites, options available for participation, answer questions and be of assistance to you during the time prior to and during the funeral Mass.
If you have any questions, or you are interested in pre-planning, please call the Parish Center at (631) 669-0068 and ask to have someone from the Ministry of Consolation contact you.
