Four Year Old Class; Pre-K: This program builds upon the foundation set in the three year old classes. Play continues to be the center of our developmentally appropriate curriculum. We reinforce the concepts introduced the previous year, while the children engage in meaningful activities to interest and challenge their emerging literacy and early math skills. This includes introduction to the alphabet, pre-writing and writing skills, number and word building. We continue to emphasize the social and emotional growth of each child as they prepare for kindergarten. They will go to Gym once a month on a rotating basis. Class meets three days per week for 2 ½ hours.
Three and Four Year Old Gym Class: All students in our Pre-K program go to Gym with their class on a rotating basis once per month on Mondays. Check our website calendar for your child’s gym session. This class is designed to improve listening and following directions, fine and gross motor skills as well as collaborative learning.
