If you enjoy speaking with people - and can commit to at least one Sunday per month - then being an Usher is for you!
Do you have 'your' special mass time? Would you consider volunteering maybe once a month?
Perhaps you like to attend the 10:30 -- but you are up earlier and can help greet people at the 9am, or don't mind staying a little later, and greeting at the Noon? Either way - your HELP IS WANTED!
Ushers and greeters are part of our Parish Hospitality Ministry - They are at every Mass to greet all who enter our doors and to help all get seated. They assist with the collection and can offer assistance and answer questions.
Ideally, there is a Team of at least 8 Ushers & Greeters for every Mass so it is possible to have rotating teams.
Do you think you can give time to your Parish in this way? How about one Mass, once a month?
If you think this might be of interest to you, please give the office a call for more information: 631-669-0068
